Dr. McLean began his career at MacKay’s Animal Hospital in 1983. He grew up in Alberta and later moved to Ontario, where he earned his Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in 1983. In his final year at the OVC, he won the K-W Kennel Club Award for proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. McLean has a special interest in dental surgery and internal medicine. He is also an active member of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario and the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association.
When not in the office, Dr. McLean spends his time with his wife, three boys and their dog Hazel, a Pot Hound from Trinidad. Dr. McLean and his family are avid skiers, and actively maintain a small tree farm near Collingwood.
